Limestone aquifers are generous and quirky at once: water moves through dissolved channels rather than tight fractures, so one well hits strong flow while another nearby needs patience and depth. Karst ground also makes well construction details — casing depth, grouting, wellhead protection — matter even more, because surface water finds shortcuts in limestone that other rock never allows.
